# watchOS 5.1 Release Notes

Update your apps to use new features, and test your apps against API changes.

## Discussion

The watchOS 5.1 SDK provides support for developing watchOS apps for Apple Watch devices running watchOS 5.1. The SDK comes bundled with Xcode 10.1 available from the Mac App Store. - Color Circular faces reset to Color Dial when you update from the first watchOS 5.1 beta to beta 2 or later. (44841456)
  
  **Workaround:** Customize the face back to Color Circular after you update.
