Apple Developer Event Attendance Policy

Please read the following terms and conditions of this Apple Developer Event Attendance Policy (“Attendance Policy”) carefully. You must agree to the terms and conditions of this Attendance Policy to register for the Apple Developer Event (“Event”). By registering for this Event, you agree to receive email communication regarding the Event, including any Event materials, and if applicable, information about follow-up meetings, at the email address associated with your account.

Registration and Attendee Information. The Event is provided at no cost, and for informational purposes only. Invitations and registrations may not be sold, bartered, auctioned or transferred in any way. Apple reserves the right to cancel invitations and registrations to the Event in its sole discretion. All registration and attendee information you provide will be treated in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which can be found at: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/en-ww/.

General. Information provided by Apple during the Event is subject to the Apple Developer Agreement, Apple Developer Program License Agreement, and/or Apple Developer Enterprise Program License Agreement, as applicable.

Location. The Event will be held online (“Online Event”) and/or at the in-person location specified on the registration website (“In-Person Event”). If you are attending an In-Person Event, you are responsible for transportation to the In-Person Event venue. Apple reserves the right to change an In-Person Event venue due to weather, capacity, or any other issues without notice. If you are attending an Online Event, you are responsible for the internet access and all equipment necessary (including required software or services) to attend the Online Event.

Security Identification. If you are attending an In-Person Event, all attendees will be required to present a valid government-issued identification (copies will not be accepted) that matches the name on the registration. You must wear provided security identification at all times. If requested, In-Person Event attendees may be required to provide additional identification. You agree not to share, transfer, give, or otherwise provide your security identification to anyone. Apple is not responsible for any personal property items lost, stolen, damaged, or destroyed at an In-Person Event. Your security identification may be revoked if any portion has been altered or defaced in any way.

Online Event Participation. If you are attending an Online Event, you may need to provide a name or an alias. Your name or alias may be displayed during the Event for purposes of submitting or responding to questions, and Event attendees may see your name or alias shared by Apple. So please be mindful of what you share, and don’t share any personal or sensitive information. Apple may respond to submitted questions within the Event but is under no duty to provide a response to a question. If Apple responds to a question, it is Apple’s intent that the information provided is accurate and reliable. If you opt-in to participate in available Online Event-related activities and topics, you understand that only one registration request is allowed per person, and you are responsible for complying with the terms and conditions of the software or service provider (for example, you must be over 16 years of age to use Slack).

Disclaimers. The Event is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. Apple cannot ensure the quality of the Event (including, but not limited to, the quality of the streaming content, the resolution, or the download speed with respect to Online Events). All content will be in English, unless otherwise specified by Apple. Apple may add, substitute, cancel and/or vary advertised programs or times without prior notice. If you are attending an In-Person Event, you voluntarily assume all risk and danger incidental to attending the event, whether occurring prior to, during, or subsequent to the Event, and Apple will not be liable for any resulting harm, including death, personal injury, loss, damage or any other liability. By attending an In-Person Event, you give your consent to receive emergency medical care if needed, should you sustain any injury or become ill while attending an In-Person Event. You agree that you are responsible for the cost of any emergency medical care provided. Apple will have no liability to attendees and hereby disclaims any and all warranties of any kind, express or implied arising out of or related to the Event.

No Recording, Photography, Soliciting or Smoking. You are not permitted to record the Event, whether an In-Person Event or Online Event, (including, but not limited to, by making audio or audiovisual recordings, scraping, or otherwise copying the Event), or post screen shots or otherwise publish, publicly display, distribute, or disseminate the Event (including any content or materials made available by Apple in connection with the Event), without the prior written consent of Apple. Notwithstanding the foregoing, In-Person Event attendees are permitted to share or post photographs taken within designated public areas of the In Person Event, provided that such photographs do not include any visual or audio content from the presentations or materials provided at the Event. You are not permitted to take professional photographic or video equipment, or wearable recording devices into an In-Person Event. Solicitation or selling of items or services is not allowed at the Event. Any attendee conducting these activities may be removed. Smoking (including e-cigarettes) is not permitted at an In-Person Event.

Film and Video Consent. Photographs, audio and/or video taken at the Event by Apple, or others on behalf of Apple, may include your voice, image or likeness. You agree that Apple may use such photographs, audio and/or video, including those that may contain your voice, image or likeness, for developer marketing purposes on a worldwide basis in perpetuity, without any compensation to you, and you release Apple from all liability related thereto.

Cancellation. Circumstances may arise requiring that Apple cancel the Event, and Apple does not guarantee that you will be informed in advance of such cancellation. Apple reserves the right to terminate the Event at any time in its sole discretion.

Code of Conduct. Apple is committed to creating a safe and welcoming event experience. At all times, attendees are expected to treat others with respect. In addition, please do not bring items with disrespectful, malicious or derogatory writing, images, or audio to an Event. By attending an Event, whether an In-Person Event or Online Event, you agree to not make audio or video recordings of any conversations you have with Apple team members at the Event without prior written approval from Apple. By attending an In-Person Event, you agree to comply with all safety signage, instructions, and rules for attendance, including local laws.
