iPad OS 14.5 won’t update on iPad Pro
I am running iOS 14.5 on my iPhone no problem. On my iPad it simply refuses to install the incremental updates. I have been unable to install any of the beta versions, it now showing beta 8 ready for download.
I have wiped it and tried on a fresh device. I have reset network settings. It has 80gb of storage. I have unlinked the icloud. I have tried every tip I have found on the forum without success. I have tried to restore with IPSW file in iTunes - it tells me I need a new version of iTunes (despite it being the latest version).
It shows the update and when I click download it gets to ‘preparing update’ and then says software update failed, close or retry. Pulling my hair out!
Any ideas? I removed the beta profile and it installed the latest substantive version but it just won’t install the updates?!
