I wrote Apple support about. After 5 emails back and forth, they finally told me to file a bug report: Jorge,  Thank you for your patience during this matter.  I was able to hear back from my internal team.  You can submit enhancement requests and bug reports for prerelease Apple products to the appropriate Apple team using the Feedback Assistant. We appreciate that you have taken the time to send Apple your feedback. I am doing so now.

I am using AVCaptureVideoDataOutput because I use an AVAssetWriter instead of AVCaptureMovieFileOutput, for the added flexibility.Thank you, Brad.

I am seeing the same, but only for the 120x120 version. It is there is the assets catalog, so I am unsure about what is happening.If you find a workaround, please post it here.
