Reply to Unfair Rejection – Minglr App Constantly Denied Without Clear Justification (Escalation Request)
I completely understand your frustration—our app, Minglr, has also been facing unjustified rejections despite being previously approved multiple times. It’s incredibly discouraging to see copycat apps moving forward while original apps like ours are being blocked. Here’s what we’ve tried so far: ✔ Filed a formal appeal – We made sure to clearly present our case and request escalation to a senior reviewer. ✔ Contacted Apple Developer Support directly – You can try calling them at Apple Developer Support and asking for an escalation to a higher-level reviewer. ✔ Used Twitter/X (@AppleSupport) – Sometimes, posting publicly can attract more attention. ✔ Requested a call with the App Review Team – They finally agreed to discuss our case over the phone. Maybe you could push for the same? Regarding Legal Action: Apple’s review process is notoriously opaque, and legal action is rarely successful unless it involves major financial damages or antitrust concerns. However, some developers have managed to escalate their cases by: Contacting Apple Developer Relations (if you have a rep assigned). Getting media attention – Some devs post their struggles on platforms like Reddit, Twitter/X, or even tech blogs. Exploring EU/US App Store regulations – The EU’s Digital Markets Act is pushing for more transparency, so Apple may soon be forced to handle these cases better. If you’re considering legal steps, you might want to consult a lawyer specializing in tech & app store disputes, but I’d recommend exhausting all communication channels with Apple first. Let’s keep each other updated—hopefully, we can both find a way forward! 🚀 Best of luck

Reply to Review-Spam 4.3
Hi everyone, We are facing a frustrating and seemingly automated rejection process under Guideline 4.3(a) – Spam, despite providing clear and transparent proof that our app, Minglr, is unique and originally designed. The Issue: Our app has been approved multiple times since May 2024, with four previous updates passing without issue. Now, it is suddenly being flagged as similar to other apps, despite the fact that it has a completely unique concept, UI, and functionality—which we have repeatedly demonstrated. We even provided full access to our Figma design files to prove that our UI/UX was built from scratch by our Art Director. Despite all of this, we keep receiving the same generic rejection response with no real explanation or actionable feedback. Our Concerns: The Review Process Feels Automated – We provide detailed responses, yet we receive the same copy-pasted reply without any acknowledgment of the evidence we submit. Lack of Transparency – If there is a real issue, we are more than willing to address it, but we are not being told what exactly violates the guideline. Discriminatory Treatment? – There are many identical apps in the App Store that follow the same mechanics and UI structure, yet they continue to be approved. Meanwhile, our original app is facing rejection for vague reasons. No Path to Resolution – We have asked for an escalation to a senior reviewer, but we are still receiving the same automatic responses without meaningful engagement. Has Anyone Else Experienced This? Have you managed to successfully appeal a 4.3(a) rejection? What is the best way to ensure Apple actually reviews the evidence provided instead of sending the same automated response? Is there a higher-level Apple Developer Support contact that can properly evaluate the situation? We are reaching out in hopes of finding a fair resolution because this process is discouraging and feels highly unjustified. Any advice or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, minglr team
