It seems that Apple has removed Back to My Mac from Mojave.

Same with Series 1.I already tried removing profiles, rebooting devices, resetting network settings—no help.

I can't help with the issue, but I can add that Series 1 has the same problem: the Watch app says I'm not connected to the internet, although I am (tried to check for updated on Wi-Fi, cellular with VPN, and cellular without VPN).
