Our company has been approached by a public utility to create an application with two pieces:
An employee application for managing tasks and administration data
A patron/customer application to submit requests to the employee responsible for the particular patron's area
Is there a way to limit the distribution of these applications to employees for the employee app and patrons for the patron app (without having it appear in the public app store)?
Sounds like a custom app distribution should work for the employee portion of the application, but is there a way to apply the same rules for the patron facing app (preferably without having to manage/obtain the patron's AppleIDs)?
Or will Apple be okay with the patron app in the public app store even though the potential users are limited to a small number of regionally located patrons?
