😁 Makes more sense than ever to get rid of requirement to have iTunes open. Was just discussing this with someone having problems with their Apple TV not seeing their libraries from their Mac. I told them it was working fine for me as long as I had iTunes open and just realized it was required for iTunes to be open to see them AFAICT. Anyways, I'm running latest public version of macOS not the beta that apparently removed iTunes which I didn't know about but sounds like a bad idea!p.s. Also, restoration of an Apple TV requires the use of iTunes so unless they come up with new way to restore it which is already a problem with the Apple TV 4k without usb port all other Apple TV owners will also be out of luck in future!

You can try booting into recovery mode and running first aid but looks like your disk is dead so I'd take it in to get repaired if still under warranty. Just had external drive die and no matter what I tried FirstAid couldn't fix it and neither could Windows but at least Windows tried but drive would just get very hot since it was trying to skip bad sectors and basically froze after trying to fix it for hour or more via chkdsk. If Disk Utility tells you the disk is about to fail, back up your data and replace the disk. You can’t repair it.https://support.apple.com/guide/disk-utility/repair-a-disk-dskutl1040/mac

Wouldn't expect it to work since Apple is usually behind supporting latest version of Windows via Bootcamp. I finally got rid of it on my Macbook because it was too much of a hassle. Had to google how to even boot into Windows anymore since apparently latest versions of Macos automatically upgraded drive to their latest AFS without telling you making the switcher app for Bootcamp useless!

Yeah went back and looked at the beta EULA Apple makes you accept to get access to beta and section #9 it does say Apple might help you but it's up to them and looking at the beta forums doesn't look like anyone from Apple even looks at the postings here anymore so best bet would be to file a BR with the details and how it bricked your device IMO.9. No Support and Maintenance; Future Products. During your participation in the Beta Program or in a particular seed, Apple is not obligated to provide you with any maintenance, technical or other support for the Pre-Release Software. If, at Apple’s option, such support is provided, it will be provided in addition to your normal warranty coverage for your computer and/or device. You agree to abide by any support rules and policies that Apple provides to you in order to receive such support.https://beta.apple.com/sp/betaprogram/legal

Yeah totally unacceptable since you can connect to it OTA from your Mac should be able to backup via iTunes like the older Apple TV's.Also, guess they didn't get the memo or this doesn't apply to the Apple TV? since it clearly states:Will installing public beta software from the Apple Beta Software Program void my hardware warranty? No, installing the public beta software does not void your hardware warranty.https://beta.apple.com/sp/betaprogram/faqGonna get out of this beta as soon as I can figure out how since only have single ATV and can't afford to brick it not to mention latestLatest Update 17J5540dis pretty buggy.Thought it bricked my ATV 4K after the update at first since it booted up to a blank screen but apparently related to the new home airplay2 activate with other device changes and multiuser changes in tvOS 13.

Have you checked using playback HUD? Since I have slow internet usually starts slow for me but picks up after a few minutes and I can see it happening since I have the HUD enabled on my ATV. https://www.redmondpie.com/check-apple-tv-4k-resolution-video-quality-connection-speed-heres-how/
