I took the advice of oldnotwise above and deleted all devices/simulators. That seems to be working so far. Thanks for the tip!

Overriding supportedInterfaceOrientations and shouldAutorotate works for me.

Have you checked your email to see if there's any from iTunes Store? Our experience is that if there is something seriously wrong, the uploaded build will get rejected and removed from web page minutes/hours after upload finishes, but there will usually (not always) an email from iTunes Store explaining what went wrong.BTW, based on submission date of the messages above, there seems to be a burst of such issue in the past 10 days. Personally, our company just found this week that there seems to be recent bug where any IPA bigger than 4GB will cause an "Invalid IPA" error and fail to process few minutes after upload finishes; and these IPAs will not show up on iTunes web page, but they do trigger emails from iTunes Store with the Invalid IPA error inside. I don't know if you guys are hit by the same issue, so mentioning that just in case.

We went into the same issue and didn't find a good solution out of the box, so we ended up writing our own UIView that behaves like a button by just overriding the touchesXYZ() methods and pressesXYZ() methods. It worked quite well and was actually not hard to implement. If there's a way to make the focus white go away on stock UIButton though, we'd love to know too. Thanks!
