Hi, is anyone else having major with their USB ports using Big Sur ? every time I attach an Ex.HD the laptop crashes, on the odd occasion I have got to the point where I can open the icon of said Ex.HD but then it crashes. This really not good as I can't even plug-in my TimeMachine Ex.HD Anyone ???

Hi, I'm having a major issue with Big Sur Beta, every time I attach an EX. HD to either USB port ( MB Air ), the icon appears but as soon as I open it the laptop crashes. I can't live with this, it also means I can't attach my TimeMachine back-up. So how do i go back to Catalina There is no point continuing with Big Sur until Apple fix this issue with USB ports

Hi, I've got Big Sur beta installed but have come across a major issue, as in when I attach either an EX. HD or even an USB as soon as I double click on the icon to open the laptop crashes, I have even tried both USB ports and several cables and EX.HD's, I get the same problem which doesn't really help as I now can't attach my eX.HD with my Time Machine Back-up. So the question is, I saved the Installer for Big Sur, I'm thinking of re-installing it, just to see if this fixes the problem , any comments here as to whether or not this is a good idea ? Hi , I hope someone reads this and can reply ( Apple Engineers ! ).Hi out there , hope someone can help here.So, my friends have an iPhone 4 or 5 ( can't remember ) with iOS 7 , I have my iPhone SE with iOS 10.3.3, iPad with iOS 11 and M/Book Air 10.13 Beta HS. Before I upgraded both iPad and M/B I could always FaceTime with my friends using either of the 3 devices, now I can't with the iPad and M/B, the SE is fine ?I can connect using iPad & M/B but no video, again everything works fine with my SE.So can anyone tell me what has gone on, what have Apple done up here ( with iOS 11 & OS 10.13 ) forgetting that 'not' everyone uses the latest Technology. It's a real pain, yes I can FaceTime with my SE but I like to use my iPad. Also one important point here, my friends ( dave & Jane + kids ) are Windowns users plus Samsung phones, only reason I gave them my old iPhone is so that they can FaceTime their Dad and me ( Dave ( my friend ) gave his dad an iPad for Xmas so that they coud keep in contact easier ), If Dave's dad updates his iPad to iOS 11 then they wont be able to FaceTime with video. This is important guys, this is about Family ...Hope someone can come back with an answer and perhaps Apple ( The Tech' guys ) have a look into why all of sudden things do not work with the New iOS & OS when it all did before the New versions came out.RegardsSteve ( UK )Please can someone at least reply, even if the answer is 'tough' :-(
