Hi, The Application launches a Privileged XPC. To running Privileged tasks we use “AuthorizationCreate” AuthorizationCreate(_ rights: UnsafePointer?, _ environment: UnsafePointer?, _ flags: AuthorizationFlags, _ authorization: UnsafeMutablePointer<AuthorizationRef?>?) -> OSStatus which launches a authentication alert where we need to enter user name and password and it returns a AuthorizationRef , After receiving the “AuthorizationRef “ we pass the same AuthorizationRef to XPC while launching XPC via SMJobless SMJobBless(_ domain: CFString!, _ executableLabel: CFString, _ auth: AuthorizationRef!, _ outError: UnsafeMutablePointer<Unmanaged?>!) -> Bool The XPC is used to run Privileged tasks. Now I want to run my application on silent mode without any UI, using terminal. Is there any way to skip the authentication alert and get AuthorizationRef without any UI via terminal. The idea here is to uninstall the product silently using shell-script. So our app provides a silent mode which can be invoked from shell script. How do we handle privileged helper installation part? We are running shell-script using admin / sudo mode. Is there anyway to skip privileged mode instalation. prompt when we run the app from shell script? Thanks Majuj

Hi, Is there anyway to embed chrome or chromium browser on swift app? I want to perform SSO login using chrome browser and browser should invoke redirect URL when it get response from the server. Currently this is implemented using wkwebvie? but customer wants this to be done using chrome browser. Can we do it?

Hi, Is there any API for checking whether file is in use or not by any app? I know we can do the same using lsof command from terminal window. Can we do the same using API? Thanks
Hi, I'm trying to notarise package file of our product. Notarization is success with some warnings on 3rd party package file. I see two executables in the 3rd party package file is not code signed properly. I need to expand, sign those binaries and flatten it again and include into our package file. I'm able to expand the 3rd party package file using the below command: pkgutil --expand " "directory name" Now i'm able to see files of the above package file. But how do i expand pay-load files?
Hi All, I'm modifying a document and saving those changes to one drive folder. now i want to create a copy of that document into local folder. I want to get it done using AppleScript. I use finder app for creating copy from one folder to another folder if document exists in local folder. tell application "Finder" to duplicate sourcefile to destinationfolder with replacing here the document exists in one-drive folder and i want to create a temporary copy into local folder. Is there anyway to do it via finder app or shell scripts?

Hi All, Is there anyway to access a library written in swift or objective-c from applescript? Library can be either cocoa framework or library. we can access standard framework classes and functions using 'use framework'. Can we do the same for custom library written using swift or objective-c? Thanks
Hi, How to add keyboard shortcut for service menu actions / workflows? I have created service menu actions for mac OS automation and these actions are available for 3rd party apps under service menu section. But the drawback here is every-time user has to go and click on it to perform that action. we can manually assign keyboard shortcut using system preferences -> Keyboard -> service menus -> add shortcut. Is there anyway to assign shortcut keys programmatically (via shell-script) for service menu actions? The goal here is to assign shortcuts via install-script instead of manually doing it.

Hi All,I'm trying to notarize macOS apps via XCode IDE - Organizer window. When I submit the app into Apple Services, the organizer window status will be changed to "Processing" and after a while I will get an e-mail saying that "Your Mac software has been notarized. You can now export this software and distribute it directly to users.'But there is no way to export notraized app. 'Export Notarized App' button is greyed out and status remains in "Processing" state eventhough i got an approved e-mail. If I query notarization info using the below command:xcrun altool --notarization-info <UUID> -u <username> -p<pwd>it returns 'package approved" status. I checked the LogFileURL link also. It says "status summary" as "Ready for distribution" and "issues" as "null"Why "Export Notarized App" button is greyed out?
