Spotlight indexing cache files

I can see a couple of python scripts in indexing folders /System/Volumes/Data/.Spotlight-V100/Store-V2/<GUID>/Cache/0000/0003/0003/12885148578.txt Why is the spotlight keeping copies of the files in addition to the indexing metadata? Are these temporary files and would these be auto-deleted after some known time period?

To know about .contents.panic file for diagnostics

Kernel panics are reported in "/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports" with name .panic In Catalina and above OS I have seen hidden files .contents.panic. When kernel panic is generated .panic is created and this hidden file (.contents.panic) also gets modified . It always points to the latest panic. What is the purpose of this separate hidden file? What is the difference between this and .panic file in terms of crashes reporting?
