Hello,
I would like to consult account deletion process in the app.
We manually delete the user account across many systems including our several databases, mailing lists, customer service ticketing SW, etc.
Once we get a deletion request, we find the user via email in our database, but then only work with the unique user ID to proceed with the deletion. So once we delete all the user data, we have no way to track the deletion back to the original email.
To sum it up, our manual deletion process is guaranteed to be completed in 14 days, we just don't have a way to contact the user once it is completed as we do not possess user's contact information anymore.
Do you have any tips? Do we have to contact them after deletion? Thank you very much.
Hi, I bought an Apple Developer Membership and after purchase the Apple Developer App show me following text: „You‘ll receive an email soon“.
Is this normal and how long should I wait or should I contact the support?

We are trying to implement the new requirements for account deletion. We offer premium features for people who have a membership. This membership is pre-paid for a year and can be cancelled but contractually will be in place until the membership runs out. When the membership has run out they are automatically logged out and their credentials will be deleted.
Is it sufficient to have people cancel their subscription and display that their membership will not be renewed and that their data will removed at the end of the subscription?

As per latest norms from the apple, App should provide account deletion option with in the app.
If our app related to wallet and some payment transaction pending with banks or any other third party, if user deletes the account how to deal with transactions and money in the wallet? what about transaction history can we keep them?

Hi All,
There was a new policy introduced by Apple to allow users to initiate account deletion within the application to provide users greater control.
It is also stated that it’s insufficient to only provide the ability to temporarily disable or deactivate an account. People should be able to delete the account along with their personal data.
If user deletes his/her account within the application, should we erase all information related to user in the server also? Or is it fine to disable the login and whenever he/she login back, can we fetch user's information with confirmation of email or an OTP kind of feature. Since deletion of user's information from the server is a irreversible process and once deleted cannot be fetched in future.
Kindly please assist on this. Your help is much appreciated

Do we need account deletion for this type of app too?

Hi. Does anyone have any ideas why my developer account status has been stuck on 'pending' since May 30th when I paid £79 for the developer account?
I have three clients waiting for me to launch their apps and I can't do so unless I have my developer ID....I spoke to customer service and all I keep getting as a response is 'your account is in financial review', yet the money was taken from my account over 27 days ago!
Any help or maybe pointers would be very helpful - I am really struggling to keep my clients happy at this point.

The status of my app has changed to Pending Agreement. So From app store connect and then Agreements, Tax and Banking section, it required to complete Canada Tax Forms. I am not a resident of Canada. But I have an address in Canada. Since I am not a resident of Canada then why is it mandatory for me to fill up the Canada Tax Forms? I think the reason is my legal entity. Because in my legal entity, I set my Canadian address. So how can I overcome this issue? I am a resident of the UK. Please give me any solution. It's very urgent. Because without solving this issue, my app will not live.

Hi, a couple of weeks ago I had a conversation with app review regarding the fact that it's required in the app a way for the user to delete it's account (and related resources)
In our app we already provide this functionality for users worldwide. Is it sufficient to have our deletion or we must use also the revocation from apple in the deletion process?
We use sign in with Apple functionality in our application
Once we delete the user on our side, isn't the token invalid/ususable anyway?
Moreover, we don't store the token at all on sign up. Should we just revoke it right away perhaps?

Apple decativated my Apple developer program account.
"for dishonest and fraudulent acts relating to that agreement." - this is all explanations
But I did not do anything dishonest and fraudulent, I was open and tried to discuss it with apple, ask them what wrong or what I can to change, describe them all situation...
But they did not say anything and totally block my account and app!
Also I found that my app have a huge number of reviews last weeks before ban, but I did not minupulate them, they could to investigate this. But I have previous partner for developing apps, and maybe he tricks and do fake reviews for ban me. But it is unfair for me, and apple ever do not try to investigate
I cannot login in Developer Apple or AppStoreConnect.
When I tring to login into Developer Apple then a form with contact form appears, but after sending all information about my app and account - Apple did not respond me for a 17 days already
Also Apple charged all May month from users in my app with subscription, but did not pay to me. There is a big sum about 25.000$. And Apple just took this money and do not want return them to me.
This is very unfair situation, i feel cheated.
Can somebody helps how I can to discuss with Apple for this problem?
Or does anyone have law litigation experience with Apple for receiving money that already paid from my users?

I am running subscription purchase tests on different apps, but I get the message "maximum number of free accounts", why am I showing this message when I use the test sandbox users?
but more important! How I can solve having to use different test sandbox accounts anyway?

We have a question with our news app. Our content is protected under a paywall. You must create an account to access it. You can do this either in our website or in our mobile applications.
The question is: the account deletion applies just por accounts created in our iOS app?

Understood that the account deletion requirement will be enforced on 30 June, 2022.
Here are some questions:
Will this checking be applied to new submission only or all existing apps without this function will be removed from the App Store, even if no updates are submitted?
When will this requirement be included in the review? If I submit an application to the App Store NOW, before June 30, will it be checked on this requirement? I want to test if my develop is sufficient already for this requirement.

Our apple developer program account attached to our company was blocked in 2018. We need to recover it and understand why it was blocked. We have tried to create a new one but the DUNS code being associated with our blocked account we can't.
Can you tell us how to get it back or create a new one? Or give us a way to contact the developer support directly by phone?

Hi all!
My account was terminated almost 1,5 years ago, I have sent a couple of mail because of reinstating my account I got a response from Apple "we will not open your account until a year after a year you can send another request for this" also they are mentioning don't send any message after this we will reject your messages, etc.
A year later I have send a reinstate request and thill no answer
I've been waiting for an answer since March, and still no answer.
I want to ask. Will I no longer be able to develop an app for Apple for life?

I was tried to build ios app using expo. So I used expo build:ios command. But I had got problem which is 'Apple 403'.

Hello, when user register in my app, user data will automatically create a membership in 3rd party CRM system.
To facilitate account deletion requirement, can I remove all the personal data we stored on APP so that user can re-register as a new APP user, but still keep the user's membership in our CRM system?

It seems the status code 200 includes the provided token was previously invalid. How could we distinguish whether the revoke token API was returned by the invalid token or revoked successfully?

Hello,
I was informed that apps support account creation must also include an option to initiate account deletion, including "guest" accounts.
However, I'm not sure that I really need the option for guest accounts because the guest account is automatically deleted when the user uninstall my app.
Would you please let me know that I still need the option for the guests?
