Hello,I would like to propose an app for kids between 3 and 7. But the App Store Review Guidelines noticed that "Apps in the Kids Category must be made specifically for kids ages 5 and under, ages 6-8, or ages 9-11" (24.4). How to do ?Thanks for your advices,Emmanuel

When I try to upload a new build to the appstore, instead of fetching the list of teams, I get the following error:Please verify the email address associated with your Apple ID. Please visithttps://appleid.apple.com. This was the case last night. The first time I tried to upload a build today, it worked! Now I need to upload a new build, and the same thing is happening? Is this on my end or apple's?

My app is iphone only and will not work on the ipad. However for the submission, even though my XCode "Devices" is set to iPhone, in the itunesconnect distribution, I do not see an option for making it iPhone only. Does my app need to support both?

Sorry if this has been asked before and discussed to death.I've been told by Apple Developer Support that at the time I submit my first app I will be given a one-time only oppertaunity to specify a Publisher/Artist/Seller name, if I miss this there is no going back. But in the same email conversation Support have told me the Publisher/Artist/Seller name is set as my company name and will remain, there is no oppertunity to change.Which one is it? Can someone please shead some light on this? We haven't uploaded any apps yet but do have draft apps with no attached code in iTunes Connect.Thanks!

I created a new version in iTunesConnect for an update to my app. I entered the wrong version number and didn't notice until I saved it. How do I either change this version number or delete the new version so I can create a new one?If memory serves, I have to actually submit an exe with the bad version before I can delete it. I was hoping Apple had fixed this.tia, PJ

I recently had an app rejected due to copy cat for One of the images being too close to another games image. It has some similarities but To everyone in the development stage no one thought it was close enough and was different enough not to be an issue. My question is this. How does an app get rejected because it has a "similar" image but other apps are clearly a full copy of others in the App Store down to game play and graphics? Where is the line for how similar games can be because by looking at the store I have missed something.

I want to now make one of my apps free and not have in-app purchases any longer. When I go into the Identifiers screen in developer.apple.com the In-App is checked and grayed out. How do I remove that?

Since Friday, any build I upload to iTunesConnect will disappear after being processed.I can see it show up after a successful upload in the "All Builds" section, starts processing, then disappears from all build lists forever.I know its there though, because if I try to upload again from xCode, it says that build number and binary were already detected as being uploaded.Seems as if its there, but not showing or hidden?Anyone else running into this?

Hey there!I log onto Itunes Connect and am uploading my first app so I click the plus button. Then I click "New App".I enter my details, my bundle id, sku etc.However when I click the "create" button it just says the error:Your changes couldn't be saved. Try again. If the problem persists, contact us.Why is this? Does anyone know why ?!

Hi!I spent hours finding the download link for latest version of Application Loader.So far there is no proper link to download latest build, all I can see is v3.0 from App Submission page.Can anyone help me to get the latest version v3.5 or any new release after this?Also, it will be great if anyone help me to know the best process to get latest versions.Regards,Garth Sebastian

From a Business and brand perspective, my app fits better under Lifestyle than Productivity - that is the current category. From a completely logical, binary, black and white POV, it's a productivity app. But, it only fits a certain kind of lifestyle, which is the reason that I want to change the category.My concerns: Is there a change of Apple penalizing me after changing it?How does this change affect my overall ranking? Ofc my app will not have a good ranking at first - because of keywords and the other variables, but will my number of downloads in the previous category come together to the new one?Will my reviews follow to the new category?If you have any experience with it, please, share. HiSorry, my english is bad!A few weeks ago, I sent an app of stickers to AppStore. Now I'm trying to do an update making it a standard app with an extension of stickers.When I try to upload, App Loader displays the following message:ITMS-90639 ERROR: "Invalid Binary The value of LSApplicationLaunchProhibited in Payload / PicMessage.app / Info.plist can not change after your app has been released.."I have tried many things, such as recreating the Xcode project from scratch. Also I put LSApplicationLaunchProhibited true (and then receive other types of errors). Nothing solves my problem.How can I solve this problem?Regards,Angel

Hello,I have an existing dating app in the App Store which uses Facebook and the users can download video and picture from their facebook account.The initial version of the app was approved by Apple without any issues, but an update submission was rejected for the following reason:"Legal - 5.2.3Your app allows users to save or download music, video, or other media content without authorization from the relevant third-party sources.Specifically, your app enables users to download video content, from Facebook.Next StepsPlease provide documentary evidence of your rights to allow media downloading from third-party sources. If you do not have the requested permissions, please remove the download functionality from your app."Based on this response I added an copy of my facebook developer page with all facebook approvement but the app was rejected again with the same response.I have since asked for clarification on what Apple deems to be 'significant account-based features'It seems as though the App Store Review Guidelines have changed in the last month.What I can do to get my app approved.Has anyone else had a similar issue?What Facebook document do I need to add to get my app approved?Thanks in advance!

App was reviewed by Apple and then published in the app store making it available for everyone to use. However, after it was made available in the app store, we tried to download it to our devices and test to ensure whether the app is working as desired. But, we noticed that the app kept on crashing whenever it was launched. The same app is working fine on Xcode.I am attaching as much information as we could collect at this point of time. Hey folks,I'm really stuck adding non consumable in app purchase for my existing app. I have a game in Appstore which already has a few Consumable IAPs like "lives" which enable player to return to game without losing their score. And now I want to add a Non Consumable IAP (Tier 1 - 0.99$) for New character type - with Double Jump feature enabled. So I have everything set up in xcode and created additional Non-Consumable IAP in Itunes Connect's "In-App purchases" section. The problem is Apple for some reason won't approve this IAP saying the following:-------------------------------------------------------------------------In-App Purchase - New Business ModelWe have begun the review of your in-app purchase(s) but aren't able to continue because your submitted in-app purchase(s) indicate a change of business model for your app. Therefore, we need to verify the implementation of your submitted in-app purchase(s) in the app to ensure your app, and its in-app purchase(s), are in compliance with the App Store Review Guidelines.Next StepsPlease upload a new binary for review and resubmit your in-app purchase(s) with the binary so that we can continue the review.-------------------------------------------------------------------------I have submitted new binaries twice already and still getting this warning.. What does it mean - new business model? I'm just adding a non consumable IAP for new advanced character. Any help and advice would be much appreciated!

Hi,In fact I could not find good title for this post so this one may be bit misleading but let's try to describe my issue.So, there is a distribution account. There are two apps in AppStore distributed via this account - app X and app Y. After couple of years of them existing in AppStore there is a need to retire app X but also we want to transfer users to app Y as their accounts are already unified in our backend.So, our plan assumes preparing one final update of the app X so each user starting updated app X will see only one start information screen with link do app Y in AppStore or link directly opening this app if the app is already installed. After some time we plan to remove app X from AppStore completely but in the mean time we want to inform users that there is much better app Y they can use now.So, what is the problem - we're simple affraid that updated app X with only one info screen will be rejected during review as not introducing minimal functionality to users. Do you have any experience concerning what we should expect from Review Board in case like this?

I get the meesage from Apple review team about my rejected application.What should I do for this, I had try to list the link to the privacy policy and terms of use in the purchasing page of my appBut I still get rejected.Can anyone tell me the reason that i get rejected ?
