Hello Developers. I am at a loss. I am trying to update my app to a new build but Transporter keeps giving me errors. My question to you all is simple I think? Do I need to create a new certificate for an update? Do I also need to create new Identifiers? Do I also need to create new CSRs? Do I need to also create new mobile provisioning file?**** I am sending a new IPA file but it keep crashing transporter with errors about the build? Ugh. Any help would be great. Thanks, JC

Hello, The issues we previously identified still need your attention. If you have any questions, we are here to help. Reply to this message in App Store Connect and let us know. Guideline 4.2.2 - Design - Minimum Functionality We still noticed that your app’s main functionality is to market your service, with limited or no user-facing interactive features or functionality. Apps that are primarily marketing materials or advertisements are not appropriate for the App Store. Next Steps We encourage you to review your app concept and work towards creating an app that offers customers an engaging and lasting experience that also meets the App Store’s high expectations for quality and functionality. For example, an app for a restaurant should offer more functionality beyond a standard mobile website that include its phone number, address, and hours. You should instead include functionality like table reservations, mobile ordering, etc. that do not currently exist on the mobile website. Resources Download iOS templates from Apple UI Design Resources. Learn more about crafting intuitive, well-designed apps with the Design Video collection. Learn more about designing for iOS in the Human Interface Guidelines. Hello i am getting this robotic response from testers and not able to get any images or proofs that my app is minimally functioned. Also on asking reason they just go AWOL. What should i do about this and how do i get in touch with the tester or supervisors at apple ? Also i have emailed many times but got no response. I think tester are neglecting the testing as they are just being paid to open and close the app, that is my presumption but still it can be true no one knows, until apple tells us how apps are tested and what goes through the tester mind or what is the reason when they are rejecting the app. We need a much listed details where we are given that this things are missing so that we can improve them and provide a well suited app for Appstore. The size of my game is less than 100 MB in the App Store. The necessary 2.5 GB resources are downloaded when the game starts. I tested the download speed all over the world via VPN and with a good Internet connection (20+ MB\s), all files are downloaded in 3 minutes or less. But it looks like Apple employees are checking an app for the App Store with a slow internet connection and rejecting it for the reason that it takes too long to load. I could put the resource files in the App Store, but this will only make it worse for players, because they will have to download extra files when updating the game. Are there any other ways? Here is their original answer: Portions of your app, or resources needed to use your app, loaded, refreshed, ran or responded very slowly. For example, when we launched the app, it took more than 10 minutes to complete launch. Since App Store users expect apps to be simple, refined, and easy to use, we want to call your attention to this design issue so you can make the appropriate changes.

If someone gives a review about an app without commenting about it with text, will the review be private ? What I'm wondering is if the owner of the app will be able to see who gave a review, even a just a stars rating without text. Is there no feature such as «Hide my email» like with Sign In with Apple where the user's email is replaced by another one ? If anybody knows, thanks for the answers.

Hello,This is crazy. I just wanted to update my app, but I need to accept the apple developer program licence agreement:The updated Apple Developer Program License Agreement needs to be reviewed. In order to update your existing apps and submit new apps to the App Store, the user with the Legal role (Team Agent) must review and accept the updated agreement in their account on the developer website.Yes, I searched the forum. No, I do not have to accept anything in itunes connect (banking, contratcs..) - there is a master agreement still active. Nothing to add there. I have a red banner in my account and I can review the agreement. But there is nothing in the agreement or below to say: "Yes, I accept it"What is the problem? Many thanks to the community.

I got this from App Store review: We noticed that your app did not meet all the terms and conditions for auto-renewing subscriptions, as specified in Schedule 2, section 3.8(b) of the Paid Applications agreement. We were unable to find the following required information in your app's binary: – Length of subscription (time period and content or services provided during each subscription period) I use Flutter to build my iOS app. Could that be why Apple can't find the information in my binary?

I submitted an App for review on June 18, received a response on June 21, as Rejected, Reason "other". But the message text said "there maybe a problem with your account or app, or there maybe no problems, and I have to wait 7 days and contact review team for status". I sent status requests several times, but got no response, except a a thank you e-mail for inquiring. My confusion is why my app was rejected while the review to best of my knowledge hasn't even started? Is Apple short on staffing? An android version of the same App took just 24 hours to get posted.

Hi Our app has multiple subscriptions that have been submitted for review two months ago some of which are cleared for sale and some are not, frankly the ones that are not cleared for sale are accepted while the ones we actually need which are cleared for sale have been in review since we submitted them with no way to reject/resubmit. We are unable to launch our app and everything is put on hold because we got nothing to sell! we have tried to reach apple but no luck they responded to our first mail with ineffective replies and stopped responding after that Is there anything we can do about that? Thanks in advance

Hello Apple I'm a software developer. My team and I, are using Expo framework to build cross-plateform mobile apps (Link to Expo website: https://expo.dev/). In brief words, Expo let us develop apps, and publish them in Android and iOS in an easy way, It provides a free app called "Expo Go". available in App Store. Any iOS user can simply download this app, and run the developed app inside it, by scanning a QR code. Recently, we've made a demo and our manager, tried to execute the app for the first time, using his Iphone device. He succeeded to run the app, for about 30 minutes. After that, he got a call, and his phone turned off suddenly!, and its not working anymore, even with recharge. Now, he thinks its due to our developed app or the Expo Go app! Would you please help us to investigate this trouble? We typically looking for a log history to check what happened exactly right before this incident. We can provide you with some coordinates about the device, or anything else needed. Note: We run the app on Ipad and android devices and didn't experienced any issue like this one. We would, also, know what do you think about Expo and Expo Go app, is there any complaints around it from iOS users. Thank you so much Kind regards

Hello! Last week, when Xcode Seed 2 was out I released updates to 6 of my apps. For 3 of the apps the update was reviewed and published within a day or two. The rest 3 apps are still "Waiting for review". One of the apps is from September 17 (Today is 23). This is a long time and I've never had to wait that long. Is there some delays for you? I thought that the delay is because I didn't release anything in the last few months but for the half of the updates there was no problems. The main thing I added to the updates is the dark mode. The only think I think what differentiate the apps is that the 3 released updates are in English but the waiting updates are in Bulgarian (They are bulgarian apps). But before I've never had problem with this.(On the side note, I realy hope Apple adds Bulgarian language to the App Store languages.)So, do you have any delays? How much time I have to wait? I'm thinking of contacting the review team but I don't know if this is the right decision.

thanks for kind help in advance . i am beginner so i ask kind help for this simple issue my app was rejected on June 15th with the review app crash(1st review) after fix the 1st bug(app crash) , i re-uploaded but unfortunately rejected again with new review i received today regarding login bug(2nd review) . but in second review , there is no issue in it regarding app crash which was handled in the 1st review . Does it mean , the 1st review error was fixed successfully ? i am confused the 1st review is still left over there so it seems i still have to fix the 1st error(if the error is fixed, i thought there is the mark something like 'fixed' or the review message is removed) . Or , do i have to only check the only 'latest' review ? Thank you so much !

When I first submitted my application to the app store for approval, I received the information that my account investigation was rejected, and I received it after a week. Hello, Upon further review of the activity associated with your Apple Developer Program membership, we have determined that your membership, or a membership associated with your account, has been used for dishonest or fraudulent activity. Therefore, your Apple Developer Program account has been flagged for removal. Specifically, we found that your account is associated with terminated developer accounts, or accounts pending termination, in direct violation of the Apple Developer Program License Agreement, which states: "You will not, directly or indirectly, commit any act intended to interfere with any of the Apple Software or Services, the intent of this Agreement, or Apple’s business practices including, but not limited to, taking actions that may hinder the performance or intended use of the App Store, Custom App Distribution, TestFlight, Xcode Cloud, Ad Hoc distribution, or the Program (e.g., submitting fraudulent reviews of Your own Application or any third party application, choosing a name for Your Application that is substantially similar to the name of a third party application in order to create consumer confusion, or squatting on application names to prevent legitimate third party use). Further, You will not engage, or encourage others to engage, in any unlawful, unfair, misleading, fraudulent, improper, or dishonest acts or business practices relating to Your Covered Products (e.g., engaging in bait-and-switch pricing, consumer misrepresentation, deceptive business practices, or unfair competition against other developers)." Because your account has been flagged for removal, any earnings payments are paused. Transferring your apps to another Apple Developer Program account or creating new accounts after receiving this message may result in the termination of the new or associated accounts. If you would like to appeal this termination to the App Review Board, you must do so within 14 calendar days. When submitting your appeal, be sure to select "I would like to appeal an app rejection or app removal" from the drop-down menu on the Contact the App Review Team page and provide a written statement that includes the following: - A thorough explanation of the issues we identified - Specific steps you will take to resolve this problem and prevent its recurrence - New information clarifying these issues, if you disagree with our findings

Otherwise, your Apple Developer Program membership will be terminated. If you have questions, contact us. Best regards, App Store Review I was trying to figure out what I was doing wrong, and after a complaint, the Apple review team seemed to conclude that I had violated clause 3.2(F) and then shut me down, after a careful reading of clause 3.2(F) , it seems that duplicate APP names may be in line with my current situation, but I can't find apps with the same name in the App Store, So I didn't mean to cause the problem,, or can you communicate more with the Apple audit team? My response at the moment is not to accept any req for my account

Hello everyone,is it possible to get an email notification for every new review that comes in?I like this feature a lot in the Google Play Store, because it allows us to make sure that we actually read every review. This forum thread already helped us to set up email notifications for responses to our review-comments, but additionally to that we'd like to get a new email for each and every incoming review.https://forums.developer.apple.com/thread/75446?q=review%20notificationIf there's no such setting or predefined feature: Have you got suggestions, how to make sure that we can read every review, but optimally don't read anything twice (like it would be the case if we just read the reviews from newest to oldest until we recognize ones we already read a day earlier)?Kind regards

In the server-side verification link of Sign in Apple ID, we only obtain the public key from the Apple server and verify the JWT validity of the IdentityToken, which is regarded as a successful login. The AuthorizationCode is not further verified and the Token is obtained and saved. However, at present, Apple requires to request the revoke token when deleting the user. We did not hold the Token before. Is there no need to request the revoke token interface when the user deletes the account? Will the APP review fail due to this?

Hi, I've been waiting for more than 2 weeks to get my in-app purchase items to get reviewed, they are stuck in "in review" status for more than 2 weeks! I've opened support tickets, Nothing is being answered (And I explained the issue in a very polite and detailed manner). The following is what made me write this post: I am at the point where I'm stuck. No apple employee is willing to answer or help me, so I've decided to create a new submission, the same binary, but with the following msg: Also, in the "What's new in this version", I wrote: Right now, After waiting an extra day for them to start reviewing my app, they've started the review process, and approved the submission!!!! They did not even bother reading what we write to them! Needless to say, I am furious. We at "Pexon Games" studios are stuck. We can not release our game due to Apple's tendency to not give a flying $%$# about their paying customers. NO Apple representative is helping us, or even bothering to read what we ask of them. I don't know what else can we do, we simply did everything except go to apple headquarters. If anyone has any suggestions we'd be glad to hear, thanks :) And if by any chance any Apple representative sees this post, HELP US, WE BEG YOU, HELP US! 😭

I’m providing an update to my iOS app and have been rejected three or four times this week with the update. The rejection is due to the reviewer “…unable to access purchased content.” The first rejection came when the reviewer could not reach the “result” screen. When attempting to access the screen, there’s an “error view” with user feedback instructing how to resolve the error. The reviewer rejected it, without even doing the instructions to resolve the issue (incomplete data entry). After providing instructions in a response (word for word pretty much what is stated in the app), the reviewer rejected the update again due to “…unable to access content.” While at the same time providing a screenshot of the result screen. I explained that the screenshot they sent with the result of the calculation is the in app purchase. The response: Upon further review, we were still unable to fully access the In App purchase items. To help us proceed with the review of your app, please reply to this message and providing the way to access the In App Purchase for review purpose. Best regards, App Store Review Because of the clear neglect from the reviewer, I issued an appeal. Today, I received an email stating they closed the appeal because the reviewer is requesting more information. Again, the reviewer sent a screenshot with access to the IAP content. I explained that the screenshot is showing the content. How am I supposed to further give access to content, when the content is provided in full, as indicated with the screenshot of the reviewer? The screen revealing the purchased content:
