I'm a volunteer iOS programmer for a local church. I developed a giving kiosk app for them that works perfectly for their needs. I installed the app directly on their iPads from my laptop.
The problem is that it seems like the app "times out" and will refuse to launch. I'm not sure how often, after 6 months? 12 months? I bring in my laptop, reinstall the app and it's good for another 6-12 months.
Does it do that because the app is not published in the App Store? Is there any way to prohibit that behavior? Enrolling in the Enterprise Program is WAAAY overkill, since it's just a local church with a free non-profit developer account and it's just one app installed on 3 iPads.
I thought TestFlight might be a solution, but as I understand it, that would force me to publish an update every 3 months. That's even worse than the current situation.
Any suggestions?

If someone gives a review about an app without commenting about it with text, will the review be private ? What I'm wondering is if the owner of the app will be able to see who gave a review, even a just a stars rating without text. Is there no feature such as «Hide my email» like with Sign In with Apple where the user's email is replaced by another one ? If anybody knows, thanks for the answers.

I've had more than 12 reviews of the new version of my app, but if I look at it in the app store, and click "Reviews", then it says the app hasn't received any for hte current version.Anyone experiencing the same thing?

My app has buttons that send you to it's Instagram, Facebook and Twitter accounts so does it use encryption?

Will user default values will be cleared if TestFlight build is installed on top of App Store build?
App is getting abnormal in some times when this action happens. But not sure if this could be an ideal reason. This action was not able to replicate when in debugging mode.

Hello Apple
I'm a software developer. My team and I, are using Expo framework to build cross-plateform mobile apps (Link to Expo website: https://expo.dev/).
In brief words, Expo let us develop apps, and publish them in Android and iOS in an easy way, It provides a free app called "Expo Go". available in App Store.
Any iOS user can simply download this app, and run the developed app inside it, by scanning a QR code.
Recently, we've made a demo and our manager, tried to execute the app for the first time, using his Iphone device.
He succeeded to run the app, for about 30 minutes. After that, he got a call, and his phone turned off suddenly!, and its not working anymore, even with recharge.
Now, he thinks its due to our developed app or the Expo Go app! Would you please help us to investigate this trouble? We typically looking for a log history to check what happened exactly right before this incident.
We can provide you with some coordinates about the device, or anything else needed.
Note: We run the app on Ipad and android devices and didn't experienced any issue like this one.
We would, also, know what do you think about Expo and Expo Go app, is there any complaints around it from iOS users. Thank you so much

Hello!
Any ideas on how to switch from an organization account to an individual account without losing the apps?
The company will soon be closed unfortunately and I would prefer to switch the account to an individual and pay taxes accordingly.
I saw that I can change the banking to an individual, but the tax forms and legal entities cannot be changed.
I have tried to contact Apple but their response is that you can only switch from individual to organization and they respond once every 3 days.. I cannot wait this amount of time and I cannot call them either.
Another idea is that I can make another apple account as an individual and transfer the apps but I don't think I can join the apple developer program with 10% fees again.
I would appreciate every suggestion!

Hello,
I would like to enroll in the apple developer program to publish my organization's app to AppStore.
My D-U-N-S number has been issued more than 5 business days ago.
When I start to enroll to submit the application, I input the D-U-N-S number which has been assigned to me. Apple tells me that the number is incorrect. But If I try to look up my D-U-N-S number, an automatic apple developer e-mail sends me the number which has been assigned to me and which I am writing during the enroll process.
Could you please help me to solve this issue?

I have a developer account. I was told that this account was flagged for removal. As soon as I got this message, I opened a new developer account and transferred my app here. The transfer process has been approved, but when I want to update this new account, I am sent a message that it will take a long time to review. Is the reason I get this message because my first account is terminated? or is it some other reason? Will this be closed on my new account?

Apple decativated my Apple developer program account.
"for dishonest and fraudulent acts relating to that agreement." - this is all explanations
But I did not do anything dishonest and fraudulent, I was open and tried to discuss it with apple, ask them what wrong or what I can to change, describe them all situation...
But they did not say anything and totally block my account and app!
Also I found that my app have a huge number of reviews last weeks before ban, but I did not minupulate them, they could to investigate this. But I have previous partner for developing apps, and maybe he tricks and do fake reviews for ban me. But it is unfair for me, and apple ever do not try to investigate
I cannot login in Developer Apple or AppStoreConnect.
When I tring to login into Developer Apple then a form with contact form appears, but after sending all information about my app and account - Apple did not respond me for a 17 days already
Also Apple charged all May month from users in my app with subscription, but did not pay to me. There is a big sum about 25.000$. And Apple just took this money and do not want return them to me.
This is very unfair situation, i feel cheated.
Can somebody helps how I can to discuss with Apple for this problem?
Or does anyone have law litigation experience with Apple for receiving money that already paid from my users?

My Mac app "ML Highlight" was released (marked as "ready to sale") in the App Store on Friday 7th. Since then, direct link to the app works but when I try to search the app name in the App Store I get no results and it's already 4 days since release.
Surprisingly when I write my surname in the search bar it shows the app in the results. Can there be some issue with the name containing word with only two characters or can it be something else ?

As per this link: "During development, the only way to get accurate download and installation sizes for your app is to create an app size report on your Mac. However, if your app is available through the App Store or the TestFlight app, App Store Connect provides the most accurate size information"
But the app sizes generated by app size report on mac, app store (app size) and app store connect, do not match.
In the below screenshots, the app size via app store and app store connect do NOT match, for each version, we expected the app size via app store to match the app store connect uncompressed size, but that's not the case, app size via app store remained same in both versions whereas app store connect uncompressed size went from ~40 to ~80 MB. Same discrepancy was observed with the app size report generated on mac.
Can you pls help us understand why this discrepancy exists and what should be the ultimate source of truth when wanting to look at the IPA size?

I connected to App Store Connect with my private key with the curl command line that was specified in the Generating Tokens for API Request and now I want to understand how to process a JWT Payload token with the command line specified in the "Generating Tokens for API Request" and don't understand how to use the commands POST or DELETE, can you help or are you interested in forming a team to solve these process issues ?
Can you give me a example of a curl command line that includes the json data of the request in the command or how to process the JWT Payload.json with the command specified to process the command from Xcode not from the Terminal.app ?

Our users faced the problem with App Clips usage, and some of them can't use this experience due to the next problem:
There is a billing problem with a Previous Purchase
View and correct the problem in your billing info. If you cancel , you may not be able to buy until this billing issue has been resolved.
When some of our users tried to open App Clips card, they were getting billing problem popup, but at the same time they could download app from App Store without any problem.
This popup blocks any possibilities for further actions with App Clips.
Moreover, all information are correct and right.
What we discover in one iPhone, is that it has pending payment for iCloud storage, but don't charge.
But any possibilities to fix this user don't have.
How can we fix it?

Hi all, please i need your help in issue that we faced in our app which we launched in the store so app is working fine in all devices except (iphone-6 and iphone-8) the content and icons is not filling well or doesn’t show well. in launch screen i made in deployment info as universal.

The status of my app has changed to Pending Agreement. So From app store connect and then Agreements, Tax and Banking section, it required to complete Canada Tax Forms. I am not a resident of Canada. But I have an address in Canada. Since I am not a resident of Canada then why is it mandatory for me to fill up the Canada Tax Forms? I think the reason is my legal entity. Because in my legal entity, I set my Canadian address. So how can I overcome this issue? I am a resident of the UK. Please give me any solution. It's very urgent. Because without solving this issue, my app will not live.

We recently got a report from a user that used the "Move to iOS" on android that our app wasn't automatically installed but many others were.
I was trying to find some documentation about what is required to support this an none seems to exist. All I could find is this line from the support article for the "Move to iOS" app.
If they're available on both Google Play and the App Store, some of your free apps will also transfer. After the transfer completes, you can download any free apps that were matched from the App Store.

Our apps are free so that's not the issue. What is required from the apps or App Store entry to properly support "Move to iOS"?

Dear Apple Team,
I am working with apple a long duration before. But sudden i got rejection on my one game and apple removed my game from appstore and flagged my account for termination.
I have a question. That in review answer apple review team rised a question that may be this is caused because we used any other game name which mislead the users.
But we can not use that name which is already used because apple not allow to take that name which is already used. Even during review appstore review tea accept my submission. If they have any issue they can easily reject my game. Even they never send me mail related policy violation but after one month they sudden removed my game and directly flagged my account for termination.
It's my humble request to apple teams please check this issue and resolve my issue. I really worked hard for my this account.
I want to arrange meeting with apple team if possible please solve my issue.

Sometimes our users encounter the ads problems. But they can’t report it with the right screenshot. It is very hard to locate the problem.
To solve the ads issue in our game, we figure out a new way to help users to report the problem.
We plan to use UIGraphicsBeginImageContext in our game. When a user encounters the problem in game next time, they just tap a “FAQ” button in our game, and we will receive the message, which will help us to locate and solve the problem.
But we’ve no idea if it is allowed in game?
