I am currently getting an error on the App Store Connect page that says: "These in-app purchases can’t be promoted on the App Store because your latest approved binary doesn’t include the SKPaymentTransactionObserver method." However, my latest approved binary includes that method.
How is it possible that App Store Connect is saying something doesn't exist when it does exist? Is this just more of Apple anti-competitive, malicious practices or should I chalk this up to an accidental "glitch"? One has huge legal implications. For instance, one event means the App Review team can just make up whatever they want in terms of rejections on the frontend by un-hooking the backend. Then, they can modify the page. The other means the software engineers at a Fortune 50 company are trash (unlikely) or they've been hacked (more likely).
I have added the photos of both my implementation and the dialog the App Store Connect is showing me.
Any solution would be much appreciated.

Does anyone know if there is a way to escalate a developer support issue? I have been unable to submit app updates for months now due to a bug in App Store Connect that Apple support has acknowledged but has no fix for. Our app is dead in the water now and they are not helping or giving any indication of if/when it will be fixed.

I have opened my 2 year old project with stickers, added new images and wanted to submit it for review in App Store Connect. But I constantly get an error:
In Project settings I added Required device capabilities and arm64 but still no luck.

I get this error when I try to apply any treatment in Product Page Optimization. I already have screenshots for the primary language. Still haven't received any solutions from the support team.
Unable to Apply Treatment
You must upload at least one screenshot for the primary language of your app before this treatment can be applied to the following:

Good day to all,
It's been 4 times that my app hasn't passed the review for the following reason:
"We still found that your in-app purchase products exhibited one or more bugs when reviewed on iPad running iOS 15.4.1 on Wi-Fi.
Specifically, there was no response when we tapped on any in-app purchase product.
NextSteps
When validating receipts on your server, your server needs to be able to handle a production-signed app getting its receipts from Apple's test environment. The recommended approach is for your production server to always validate receipts against the production App Store first. If validation fails with the error code "Sandbox receipt used in production," you should validate against the test environment instead.
Resources
You can learn more about testing in-app purchase products in your development sandbox environment in App Store Connect Developer Help.
For more information on receipt validation, please see What url should I use to verify my receipt? in the In-App Purchase FAQ.
Learn how to generate a receipt validation code in App Store Connect Developer Help."
I don't understand why the reviewer can't buy a product when I tested the app with an snbox ID and in the flight test and I didn't encounter any problems on iPad pro IOS 15.4.1, iPhone SE (second generation) iOS 14, ...
I'm using Unity and have tried with less code and coding in C#. Both are working on my end but the reviewer can't purchase.
I even attached a video in the "Information useful for verifying the app" section to allow the reviewer to see that it works on my side
Has anyone ever encountered the problem?
Regards,
Bilu

Since April 1, 2022, the App Review Team and App Review Board have been consistently rejecting my app, the reason being,
"Guideline 4.3 - Design
We continue to find that your app provides the same feature set as other apps submitted to the App Store; it simply varies in content or language, which is considered a form of spam."
This is 100% false because my app has unique features not found on other apps on the App Store.
The strange part is the supposedly similar apps don't even offer the features that my app offers yet those apps are able to get their app submissions approved. I should also mention those apps were published after mine.
I have provided screenshots, video demos, source code, spoken to App Review team and they are still rejecting the app because of 4.3.0.
It appears they are overlooking the information I've been providing and responding with generic responses.
Should I file a complaint with the BBB? It's evident that selective bias and unfair treatment is happening with the App Review Team and App Review Board.
I've exhausted all options and I need advice on what to do next.
I've spent too much money and effort to have the app stuck in this endless cycle of rejections.

I see a lot of "tiktok downloader" apps in the App Store.
Like this one https://apps.apple.com/in/app/tiksave-save-repost-videos/id1548135477
When I created my own app, it was rejected because of
5.0.0 Legal: Preamble
5.2.3 Legal: Intellectual Property - Audio/Video Downloading
Any Idea how to pass the moderation?

Hi all, I was having an issue which my APP was got rejected and I received
an email said the following ITMS-90165: Invalid Provisioning Profile Signature. The provisioning profile included in the bundle 'app'
(ios.app) cannot be used to submit apps to the iOS App Store until
it has a valid signature from Apple. (Expired profile signing certificate.)
However, I can see my
certificate and profile are still valid till 2022 May from the developer
portal. Can someone let me know why I encounter this issue please? I was
able to submit an iOS APP back in 2022 Mar. Could anyone please advise what I need to
do to resolve the current situation and how I can prevent the same case in
ongoing please? Also, it will be great if anyone can let me know any limitation or
standard of using the APPLE related certificate to do distribution and
development.
Hi,
My game has been rejected based on the following:
We discovered that your app contains hidden features. Specifically, this app contains functionality to load a webview of external content within the app. It would be appropriate to ‘bake-in’ content of these web pages into the submitted binary or remove them from the app’s functionality before resubmitting for review.
I do have a attribution screen that i credit people who have helped me with the game and link (opens externally in Safari) to their Instagram/SoundCloud/behance/email accounts.
Is this not allowed?

Hi guys. I have a few problems regarding my apps approval. Currently I'm developing a few apps for specific company for a non public user. However, the apps keep getting rejected because it is not for public. The solution that have been suggested is, I use business manager account. However, the apps is still being rejected because for this solution, only the Apps that have the same ID as the company can be downloaded in the Apps Store. Thus, can you guys advice me how to get my apps approved through Apps Store.

Hi!
I am unable to get the Apple Review team to look at my in-app purchases.
I have an already published app with some IAPs. I'm trying to add a few new ones now.
I've uploaded a new binary and submitted that to review along with the in-app purchases.
Upon the first try, my app was approved, but the IAPs were returned with: "In order to approve your new in-app purchase business model, we have to verify the purchasability of the items being sold."
I removed the already approved binary and submitted it again to review along with the IAPs, because I read somewhere else in this forum that having both the IAPs and the app "In review" at the same time will somehow get them to look at it. The app was approved again, the IAPs were "in review" for 3 days, and then they got returned again but this time the message is:
"We have returned your in-app purchase products to you as the required binary was not submitted. When you are ready to submit the binary, please resubmit the in-app purchase products with the binary."
I have specifically asked them in my review notes to also review the IAPs and provided them with a sandbox account to test.
At this point, how to get them to finally look at and approve my IAPs is beyond my comprehension.
Should I submit the IAPs first, get them approved, then submit the binary?

Hi all,
I'm trying to finish uploading my app and there is a stupid error with uploading screenshots. I simply cannot. Every time I try to upload a screenshot, I get a nice error. It says I need a screenshot with the dimensions 1242x2688. This is bigger than my MacBook Air's screen!!!! What in the world???
I cannot express how much distaste I have for Apple and all of their development tools, I have shouldered this burden all the way to uploading to the App Store, and naturally, I cannot upload screenshots. What in the world Apple?
I would like this problem to get fixed IMMEDIATELY. (Or at your earliest convenience, Apple. (Which would be hmmm.... 5+ years.)).
There is no working way around this, and I am stuck until this error gets fixed. If it doesn't, I can't upload my app until then. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR...............

Hi,
The app I will be submitting for review requires sign in.
App has in app card/passes provisioning so the auth must be MFA. The app it self does not give you an option to create an account. Accounts are created elsewhere by organization.
I need guidance on how to provide Apple App Review Team with an account in order for them to sign in into the app. E.g. they would need to go through a MFA (Multi-Factor-Authentication) verification such as a confirmation code would need to be retrieved and entered. So my question is, does Apple have an email address that they can provide that I can setup an account for with MFA that way you guys would then use it to review the app submission? Or do we need to give you fully setup email account and pass that you would use to retrieve the MFA code to sign in. OR is there no way to test with MFA credentials when submitting for review?

Hello everyone.
I have mistakenly created a submission version of my application for macOS as well. I want to delete this submission.
I have not added any details in this submission, no screenshots or anything else, even though I have not submitted it for review.
I want to delete this macOS App version.

So there is this App Store related news going on:
https://developer.apple.com/news/?id=2t1chhp3
"Starting April 25, 2022, iOS, iPadOS, and watchOS apps submitted to the App Store must be built with Xcode 13, which includes the SDKs for iOS 15, iPadOS 15, and watchOS 8."
For my case I have developed an SDK as framework.
Does it mean the pod installed frameworks that i am using in my SDK also needed to be updated to the version that is built by xcode 13?
