When rearranging the home screen and subsequent pages, folders containing apps will spontaneously vanish, leaving the app icons on the pages. It may be related to widgets moving on the page.

Hi there! I am a Telecommunication Engineer and I daily use the Field Test Mode of my iPhone to quickly check the networks at work. I've noticed the Field Test has been completely redesigned with iOS 14 and I am glad to see this menu is still alive (hope it will be forever). I really enjoy the new customizable Dashboard but I managed to only delete elements swiping from right to left but I can't add new ones! How can I add new elements from the All Metrics menu?

about 6 hours ago my iPhone 11, unprovoked, began to flicker and glitch for no reason. it looked like an old tv with no signal. I restarted my phone and it stopped flickering but stayed glitched, colors became dull, lines horizontally and vertically on the screen. I hard reset it a few times with the volume and power buttons, nothing happened. i deleted apps and photos to clear storage, nothing. I waited it out, nothing. when I got off of work I decided to factory reset (and now I’m locked out of my iCloud until tomorrow >:< ) my phone as someone told me it could possibly fix the issue. When I factory reset it, it went back to normal...for five minutes. the notification bar is glitched again and the screen will begin to glitch if I’m watching YouTube or sitting on the home screen. It fixes itself if I lock it then unlock it but it slowly reappears within the next 5 minutes. I got my iPhone 11 in November, it hasn’t been dropped in water, it has a protective Speck case and screen protector on it, it’s never fallen high drops, this all happened completely random; I was at work and my phone was laying on the counter and it began doing this. I saw that there was a bug update to “fix green screens” or something so I updated my iOS but it didn’t fix my problem at all, if anything it made it worse. Now I’m stuck with a phone that is less than a year old that looks like crap and I lost literally all of my data until Apple gets back to me on verifying my new phone number. I am beyond irritated, my last iPhone was a 7 plus and the mic stopped working and Apple admitted at fault but tried to make me pay $300 to fix the $350 phone 🤦🏻‍♀️ Is anyone else having random screen problems? Any fixes? Should I contact Apple?

I came across a YouTube video showing that showed how to download the iOS 14 (or iOS 13) Beta Software from Apple.com if you have iPhone 6 or 6 Plus. I tried it out and it downloaded perfectly to my device after I enrolled my device (which I didn't expect to work given that my phone is outdated). My question is, should I install this or will it destroy my phone completely? The thing that gets me is it's directly from the Apple Beta Program website. I've always used the Public Betas on my iPad and have never had any issues with data loss or system malfunction. I just wanted to be sure before I pressed install that this is safe to do on this device.

What are the options for external GPS on Iphone? For instance, my car have an excellent external GPS antenna (and a terrible inside reception due to the heater in the windshield) and I can retrieve the GPS data using an Arduino/Raspberry from the OBD2 port. I do not want to fake the GPS data but use an external data source such as Bad Elf/Garmin Glo/etc. Is it that possible? Would the apps use the external data automatically such as Google Maps and Waze? I'm not interested in distributing an app unless needed, so, anything like a profile works for me.

I update Xcode this morning to 11.7 and am running iOS of 13.6.1 and get the following message. The current device configuration is unsupported. This iPhone SE (Model A1662, A1723, A1724) is running iOS 13.6.1 (17G80), which is not supported by Xcode 11.7. As Xcode is the latest version as on 1 September 2020, what is the issue?

I plug my phone in outside of my room every night and don’t touch it until 6:00 or 7:00am. I have been waking up to my phone showing that screen time says I’ve been on Pinterest or Instagram for 6 or 7 hours every night. It seems that whenever I leave my phone alone for a few hours it starts recording screen time when no one could possibly be using my phone. I was wondering if there is any way I can fix this. Thank you.

Overview: Our phones currently are configured with a basic MDM iOS policy. The policy has not been changed since January this year. After the update from iOS 13 to iOS 14, the functionality to scan bar code via the Camera app stopped working. A border surrounding the barcode shows up, but the safari pop-up link does not drop down for a user to click. Relevant settings: There are no restrictions on the camera app and the "Scan QR Code" setting is turned ON After more research, the following has been identified: After un-enrolling the device with MDM, the QR Code scanner works as expected. A factory reset selecting "Erase All Content" option was completed on an iPhone6S and an iPhone7 (iOS 14.0.1) and this resolved the issue. After deploying an empty MDM policy to a test phone, the functionality was still not restored. Any ideas on what could be causing the issue?

Whenever I fresh install my app onto my device, it is not showing up in the Settings app. Even after trying to search it, nothing appears. I use location services and local network within my application so I need to be able to change those authorizations as it does not reliably prompt for those authorizations (I need always for location and that was removed, local network never prompts correctly). I have however seen my app appear in the settings app under privacy -> Location Services but not local network. Is this an issue with Apple or with my application? Should also be known that it does appear in settings on some devices.

I imported my game from a third party platform that uses splash screens opposed to launch screens. Now that I'm working solely in Xcode with my game, I'm trying to create a launch screen. I see that Apple asks for a launch screen storyboard rather than static images, but I'm confused about how to do this. I created the storyboard, and I can figure out how to get images into the storyboard, but I can't figure out how to make the image adapt to all device sizes. What size should my image be? How do I make the image scale for all devices from the iPhone 4s to the iPad Pro 12.9? Any advice having to do with any of this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!
