I recently purchased a MacBook Air M1 and I'm currently running macOS Monterey version 12.4. Soon after the setting up the system, I installed chrome and am using it as daily driver for browsing, etc. But I'm facing this issue very frequently where chrome shuts down unexpectedly without notice or me clicking the close button. Strangely this happens with chrome only not any other apps. I assumed it would be some issue with the extensions but thats not the case. Not really sure what to do now.

Hello, I have the problem of constant disconnection when I connect to a Microsoft computer with Microsoft Remote Deskop and Microsoft Remote Deskop Beta applications on my Macbook Air M1 computer. Sometimes every half hour, sometimes every 10 minutes, my connection is constantly disconnected and the application is not responding. I am waiting for your suggestions on how to solve this problem.

I am trying to change the Finder preferences to not show file extensions. At first it seems to work but after 15' the extensions become visible again, and I get a crash report in the Console

I’m not gonna lie, I think I may have mistakenly mounted my Macintosh HD data disk to another location and now all I can do is boot into recovery mode and single user mode. Trying to boot normally gets me to the login screen and then freezes with an endless pinwheel. When I pull up the directories in single-user mode it shows my data folder where the recovery and the preboot folders are… Can anybody help me?

Problem in streaming videos on my MacBook air 2020 i3 model. Every time I stream any video, after ever few minutes video start buffering and I have to turn off and on the wifi from the Mac only then video resume again. No such problem on other devices. There is no problem in WifI. The problem keeps repeated after every 10-15 minutes with makes very annoying to watch any video or movie.

Please Apple… figure out what is going on with this or at least a quicker way of closing Alllllll the windows at once. If Ive been away from my desk for a day or two I have to deal with several of those little boxes closing them one by one…. ANNOYING and such a waste of my time. Its bad enough dealing with them throughout my day when they randomly pop up for no reason. It makes it extremely hard to save stuff at times when its constantly ejecting. Why do you have to cut us users more and more? Since 2013 I use a custom resolution of 1920x1200 HiDPI on my MacBook Pro 13" with help of SwitchresX. Currently these isn’t working anymore on Apple Silicon MacBooks. For me and many other users this is unacceptable behaviour and completely destroys the Mac experience. At a price of 2300€ incl. Apple Care, I would expect that I can at least adjust this little thing as I want it to be?! So for me the MacBook Pro with Apple Silicon is a total bad buy. I need this solution for my daily work to earn my money and Apple thinks that they have to patronize their users, technically without any sense and reason. This is really the last and makes Apple really unsympathetic! Where is the problem to let a user decide which resolution he wants on a device he paid for?!? Why do you always have to jail everything and take freedom away?! That makes me so mad, I would like to throw the MacBook in the trash. It's always the same, a very cool device, but Apples dictatorship.

I wanted to go trough my wifi.log data, to see if there is any proof of my wifi connection problems (and that I desperately tried to connect with other wifis) . I have an alias on my desktop the alias points to a file deep inside my user's documents folder i can double click the alias and the original opens as expected. but when i right click it and pick "show original", the finder opens my home folder, with nothing selected, not the document's containing folder with the document selected. same thing happens if i open the document then command-click the icon in the titlebar of the window, (which reveals a popup menu with the path to the document), and pull down to the document's containing folder: the finder reveals only my home folder. what? why?

My mac has been unable to boot properly lately. I wiped the drive and reinstalled Monterey. Unplugged it and waited, etc. Usually it only starts properly in safeboot, but for the first time in a long while, it just booted normally.
