I am looking to see if the LIDAR feature on the Iphone 12 Pro and/or iPad Pro can provide me with enough detail for the following: I would like to scan a flat surface and/or a depression in a surface to see if it is flat within 1/8" within the scanned area. So lets say there is a 10' x 10' area in a room or construction floor, I need to see if that area is flat and if there are any variations within the area in terms of flatness and pitch. In essence, create a "map" of high and low points in an area. Typically laser scanner are used for something like this. Can Lidar provide this information?
