Is there a possibility of developers having access to develop custom CarKeys system to install in their own cars with UWB & Bluetooth.
Currently theres no documentation or API and seems to be limited to large and select manufacturers.
The plan is to explore having remote start, unlock and GPS tracking using a microcontroller and W/R to the cars CAN bus.
Would I have to join the "Car Connectivity Consortium" (Unlikely to get in) or do I have to wait for a standard finalised?

We are developing an outdoor accessory integrated in our products wish that using the same idea of the AirTag, which allow any Apple device to broadcast its encrypted location information to the owner.
My question is, do we necessarily need apply the UWB technoligy to enable the NearbySession API, or maybe a Bluetooth solution can alos accomplish that?
Thanks.

Hello,
Apple has introduced NI session for third-party integration with other UWB manufacturers that follow the Fira standard. In the related documentation, they cited that the accessory needs to send an Access Configuration Data message to the Apple device to communicate with it.
The Access configurations data message contains a UWBConfigData object that probably describes the configuration of the UWB radio. The documentation did not provide any information about the content of this message.
I was wondering if it is possible to provide the content of this object?

If our UWB work with Channel 5, the iOS demo APP can connect.
If our UWB work with Channel 9, the iOS demo APP cannot connect.
