Xcode 9 beta 6 - Group Folder Icon

Some of my group folders in Xcode now have a little darker yellow triangle in the bottom left corner. Not all though. What does this signify?


Also how can I get my folders to sync with the file system like the claims of the new feature?

Xcode 9 makes a distinction between "groups" and "groups with folder" (you can see that when you right-click create a folder). The ones with the triangle are the old style "groups" which aren't tied to any folder structure.
