This section describes the Slot Manager parameter block structure, the slot information record, the format header record, the slot parameter RAM record, the slot execution parameter block, and the slot interrupt queue element.Many Slot Manager routines return information from data structures contained in the firmware of cards. See "Firmware," beginning on page 2-7, for a general discussion of these data structures, and see Designing Cards and Drivers for the Macintosh Family, third edition, for more detailed information.
