Obtaining Information About Speech
Once you have determined with the Gestalt Manager that the Speech Manager is present, you can use theSpeechManagerVersionfunction to determine what version is available.To determine how many speech channels are currently processing speech in your application, you can use the
SpeechBusyfunction. To determine how many are processing speech in your application and other processes, you can use theSpeechBusySystemWidefunction.
