This Dashboard widget uses a widget plug-in to find Address Book contacts with birthdays that occur in the current day, week, or month. The plug-in queries the public Address Book framework and returns matching names, birthdays, and Address Book identifiers. The latter allows construction of a URL which opens that person's entry in the Address Book application.

The sample includes the completed widget, an Xcode project for the plug-in, and a vCard containing test contacts with birthday data. Please see the Read Me for instructions on adding birthday data to your Address Book contacts, and installing a modified plug-in into the widget.
