PackageTool is an application illustrating how to create application packages in Mac OS 9. It provides a simple interface or converting correctly formatted folders into packages and vice versa. Version 1.1 adds code that automatically creates a work-around for an alias manager bug so users may now place a package's main file in a package's root directory.
