Adding a New Instrument to an Existing Trace Document

Expand on the amount and type of data collected by adding a new instrument to your trace document.

To add a new instrument to an existing trace document
  1. Click the Add button (+) to open the Library palette.

  2. Select Library from the pop-up at the top of the palette to display a list of all instruments. Or, select a specific category to display related instruments. You can also use the Filter field at the bottom of the Library palette to narrow down the list.

  3. Drag an instrument to the desired position in the instruments pane, or double-click on the instrument to add it to the bottom of the list. The following screenshot shows the Core Data Fetches instrument being added to a trace document.
