Incorporating a Texture Atlas in Your Project
Incorporate your Sprite Kit art resources into a texture atlas to improve your app’s performance.
Place all of your app’s art into a single folder.
Name the folder name
Choose File > Add Files to AppName.
In the Editor area, select your project and click Build Settings.
Spritein the search field, and press Return.
Set Enable Texture Atlas Generation to Yes.
After adding a texture atlas to your project, you continue to access your images in the same way. No changes in your code are required. The compiler knows how to access your images through a property list generated during build time.
