# sendMIDIEvent(_:data1:data2:)

Sends a MIDI event which contains two data bytes to the instrument.

func sendMIDIEvent(_ midiStatus: UInt8, data1: UInt8, data2: UInt8)
```

## Parameters

`midiStatus`

The status value of the MIDI event.

`data1`

The first data byte of the MIDI event.

`data2`

The first data byte of the MIDI event.
