# insertEmptyTimeRange(_:)

Adds an empty time range to a movie.

func insertEmptyTimeRange(_ timeRange: CMTimeRange)
```

## Parameters

`timeRange`

The time range to be made empty.

## Discussion

You can’t add empty time ranges to the end of a movie.
