# skipCurrentEvent()

Causes the playback of the currently playing interstital event to be abandoned.

## Discussion

Note that coinciding events will NOT be skipped.
This results in AVPlayerInterstitialEventMonitorCurrentEventSkippedNotification being posted.
Has no effect while the currentEvent is nil.
