# CFCalendarGetIdentifier(_:)

Returns the given calendar’s identifier.

## Parameters

`calendar`

The calendar to examine.

## Return Value

A string representation of `calendar`’s identifier. Calendar identifier constants can be found in [`CFLocale`](/documentation/CoreFoundation/CFLocale).
