# CVPixelBufferPoolRelease

Releases a pixel buffer pool.

```

## Parameters

`pixelBufferPool`

The pixel buffer pool that you want to release.

## Discussion

This function is equivalent to <doc://com.apple.documentation/documentation/CoreFoundation/CFRelease>, except it’s `NULL` safe.
