# replaceObject(at:with:)

Replaces the object at the specified index with the new object.

func replaceObject(at idx: Int, with object: Any)
```

## Parameters

`idx`

The index of the object to be replaced. This value must not exceed the bounds of the mutable ordered set.
  
  > Important:
  > Raises an ``doc://com.apple.foundation/documentation/Foundation/NSExceptionName/rangeException`` if index is beyond the end of the mutable ordered set.

`object`

The object with which to replace the object at the index in the ordered set specified by `idx`.
