# makeMTL4CommandQueue(descriptor:)

Creates a new command queue from a queue descriptor.

## Parameters

`descriptor`

A [`MTL4CommandQueueDescriptor`](/documentation/Metal/MTL4CommandQueueDescriptor) instance that configures the

## Return Value
