# supportsShaderBarycentricCoordinates

A Boolean value that indicates whether the GPU supports barycentric coordinates.

## Discussion

If a GPU device supports barycentric coordinates, a fragment shader can receive them by adding the `[[barycentric_coord]]` attribute to one of its arguments.
