# protocol_isEqual(_:_:)

Returns a Boolean value that indicates whether two protocols are equal.

```

## Parameters

`proto`

A protocol.

`other`

A protocol.

## Return Value

[`YES`](/documentation/ObjectiveC/YES) if `proto` is the same as `other`, otherwise [`NO`](/documentation/ObjectiveC/NO).
