# kMovieMediaAutoPlay

A Boolean that indicates whether or not the embedded movie starts playing immediately after  instantiation.

## Overview

QuickTime uses this atom only if the `TimeBase` of the embedded movie is not dependent on the container movie. If this atom is present and auto play is `true`, the movie plays at its preferred rate after instantiation. If this atom is not present, the embedded movie does not automatically play.
