# speechRecognizer(_:availabilityDidChange:)

Tells the delegate that the availability of its associated speech recognizer changed.

## Parameters

`speechRecognizer`

The [`SFSpeechRecognizer`](/documentation/Speech/SFSpeechRecognizer) object whose availability changed.

`available`

A Boolean value that indicates the new availability of the speech recognizer.
