Your app must be a native iOS app or Mac app written in Objective-C and signed with a signing certificate issued to you as part of your Apple Developer Program membership. The content of your app must be in English.

Employees of Apple Inc., their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and their immediate family members and/or those living in same household of each are not eligible.
Each developer selected for a WWDC 2013 Student Scholarship will receive a WWDC 2013 ticket which entitles them to attend WWDC 2013, held between June 10 and June 14 in San Francisco, California USA. Up to one hundred fifty (150) tickets will be awarded at Apple’s sole discretion. Only one ticket will be awarded per applicant. Tickets are non-transferable. There will be no substitution of awards and no cash awarded in lieu of the WWDC 2013 ticket. All applicable taxes are the sole responsibility of the scholarship recipient. Travel and accommodation expenses are not reimbursable by Apple. No transportation will be provided to attend WWDC. Attendance at certain WWDC events may be prohibited based on age (e.g., under 18 may not attend the WWDC Bash).
Submissions will be judged on technical accomplishment, creativity of ideas expressed in the app and essay questions, and technical/work experience. If there is a tie between applicants in the final judging process, Apple will base its final decision on the creativity of ideas expressed in the Student Scholarship application.
