WWDC25 labs

Here’s everything you need to know about group and one-on-one labs at WWDC25.

Get the most out of group labs

Group labs are held on Webex and hosted by a panel of Apple experts, who’ll discuss the week’s biggest announcements and take questions from the audience.

You can submit questions about the lab’s topic via the Slido Q&A panel in Webex. You’re also welcome to hang out and listen to the conversation.

Group labs last up to 60 minutes.

  • Please be prompt. Group labs will start on time. You’re welcome to join and submit questions in advance.
  • You can upvote questions in the Slido panel.
  • All questions will be answered live by the panelists. Responses won’t come back in text form.
  • All group labs will include an on-camera ASL interpreter. You can also read more about Webex’s accessibility features.

Get the most out of one-on-one labs

One-on-one labs offer the opportunity to request Webex appointments with Apple engineers and designers for guidance on the topics that interest you most. Developers of all skill levels are welcome to ask questions, get troubleshooting help, review UI designs, discuss App Store distribution and marketing, learn best practices, and give us feedback.

One-on-one lab requests will open immediately after Keynote on Monday, June 9 via the Apple Developer app and Sessions and labs page.

Appointments last up to 30 minutes.

How to request a one-on-one lab

To request a lab, find the right one for your questions and select your preferred time window. Keep in mind that your appointment will be a 20- to 30-minute slot within that window.

When submitting your request, please provide clear context about what you’d like to discuss so we can match you with the right people. You can include:

  • Requests to discuss general topics, features, or APIs
  • Specific questions
  • An App Store or TestFlight URL, and a separate URL for additional materials
  • Details about troubleshooting steps you’ve tried
  • Feedback Assistant IDs for related reports you’ve filed using Feedback Assistant

If your request is confirmed, you’ll receive an email confirmation with a calendar invitation, Webex link, and other instructions by 10 p.m. PT the night before your appointment. You’ll also receive a notification from the Apple Developer app.

If your request isn’t confirmed, you can submit another request for another day.

If we determine your request would be better addressed by a different team, we’ll transfer your request and notify you by email. Transferred appointments may take place on a different day and/or time than your original request.

Cancellations

If you can’t make your appointment — even if it’s already confirmed — please make sure to cancel. This helps us accommodate as many of your fellow developers as possible.

Tips for one-on-one labs

  • Once you’re confirmed, add the calendar invitation from your confirmation email to your Calendar app.
  • Download and install Webex for desktop or mobile. You can also connect through a web browser. If you plan to share your screen, make sure the necessary Webex permissions are enabled. You may be on or off camera as you like.
  • Catch up on the latest video sessions related to your topic, jot down notes about what you’d like to discuss, and make sure you have any code, wireframes, or visual aids ready to share.
  • Please be prompt. To make sure we can give proper attention to all attendees, your appointment will start and end on time.
  • Mind the clock to make sure we cover all your questions!

About design and accessibility labs

  • High-demand labs like design and accessibility tend to have more availability in the afternoon, Pacific time.
  • You can take part in a maximum of one design lab and one accessibility lab during the week of WWDC25. Please note that if you cancel a confirmed appointment, you won't be able to request another appointment for that topic.
