Routines for Graphics Devices
This section describes routines for creating, setting, and disposing ofGDevice
records; for getting the available video devices and offscreen graphics worlds; and for determining the characteristics of video devices and offscreen graphics worlds. Generally, your application won't need to use the routines for creating, setting, and disposing ofGDevice
records, because Color QuickDraw calls them automatically as appropriate. However, you may wish to use the other routines described in this section, particularly if you want to optimize your application's drawing for screens with different capabilities.
