The Text Utilities and the International Resources
Many of the Text Utilities routines script-aware, which means that you need to understand script systems and the international resources to use the routines properly. Each script system contains a collection of these resources, which contain data and routines that define how regional differences are handled. In particular, the international resources contain tables that define how different text elements are represented.The resources used by the Text Utilities are
