Hi, I have a photo from an external device that I've already copy from PHAsset (the file size is the same), then when I restore that one with the function UIImageWriteToSavedPhotosAlbum for saving it into the iPhone photos library back. The quality is still ok but the file size has been changed.
I tested several photos and here is some results:
