I know about the EventKit, but i wonder why apple does not provide a function to call the viewcontroller that is called when you click on a date that is detected through the dateDetector. It would be the perfect solution, it would look good through all the apps that are able to add events to your calendar.
Or am I missing a way to call it programmatically?
