Hello there! I am struck with the really wonderful quality of the Apple Pencil handwriting code in apps like PDF Expert and Notability. I think that Notability is especially great. The Notability people say that there is some proprietary code that helps with the quality, which is to my best guess some form vectorization of the strokes in combination with antialiasing to make it appear especially smooth.
What do we know about the state of the art of handwriting with Apple Pencil? Is using pencil pressure enough to provide accurate handwriting? What about tilt and speed?
I am developing a diagraming app with PyQt and want the handwritten notes feature to be very realistic and personal. Are there code snippets or lessons learned out there?
