Best Way to Navigate to the Top Element Using VoiceOver

I’m currently focused on an element at the bottom of the screen. What is the proper way to quickly navigate to the top element? By default, there’s a four-finger single tap to move to the first element, but should I use the Rotor action instead to focus on the element I need?

For example, in the Contacts app while adding a new contact, if I enter a value in a field at the bottom, there’s no quick way to directly save the contact. I have to manually navigate all the way to the top to tap the Done button, which feels a bit inconvenient.

Is there a better way to handle this using VoiceOver?

While VoiceOver is on, press and hold your finger down on the display. Moving it around will bring the VoiceOver cursor to follow under your finger.

VoiceOver users tend to have the same spatial understanding of the screen layout as non-VoiceOver users, so getting to the navigation bar at the top, or tab bar at the bottom of the screen are as quick as pressing and holding to move the VoiceOver cursor.

Using the four-finger tap at the top or bottom of the screen to jump to the beginning or end of the element list usually helps navigate long lists or tables where these elements are off screen so they cannot be jumped to using the method above.

@Frameworks Engineer On iPhone/iPad, the VoiceOver cursor ficus the item under the my finger when performing a press and hold. However, on Mac, if I’m using only keyboard navigation, how can I achieve the same behavior?

Is there an optimized way to navigate directly to the Done button without manually moving through all elements? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
