Help with icon for tab bar item

Hi all,

I am trying to display two custom icons for two UITabBar items into an iOS app I am developing. Since I am blind, the icons have been designed by a sighted friend of mine who is not an expert in programming and iOS human interface guidelines. Unfortunately the icons are not being displayed in the tab bar: could you please tell me wether they are fine or not? If they aren’t, what should my friend do to “fix them”?

I’m attaching one of the icons both in the selected and not-selected variants, size 25x25 px at 1x. In the app I have already put variants for @2x and @3x, but it didn’t solve the problem.
