New South Korea Account Notification Requirement

https://developer.apple.com/news/?id=j9zukcr6 starting from Jan 2026 there is change in requirements for account notifications for Sign in with Apple. Does this apply only to developers based in South Korea or all apps which are avai via the korean App Store?

Hi @YishaiR,

The requirement is for developers based in the Republic of Korea.

Developers based in other regions with apps available in the Republic of Korea are not required to provide a server-to-server notification endpoint when registering a new Services ID, or updating an existing Services ID, to associate their website with an app using Sign in with Apple.

Although a server-to-server notification endpoint is not a requirement in outside of the Republic of Korea, all developers should strongly consider integrating this notification endpoint to properly handle account changes for their Sign in with Apple users in real-time.
