According to the CarPlay developer guide navigation apps are allowed to use the CPTabBarTemplate.
Thing is that navigation apps most likely use a CPMapTemplate as root template already, so how should the CPTabBarTemplate be used then?
Setting a new root with a CPTabBarTemplate will probably break ongoing navigation and CPTabBarTemplate can't be pushed.
